European and UK buyers with a travel spend of £1m+ can take advantage of benefits
Hundreds of global, EMEA and national travel buyers and procurement, purchasing and sourcing category specialists join Business Travel Show’s hosted buyer programme each year. Here are some of the opportunities you can only get if you’re on the programme.
Increased buyer-to-buyer networking: It’s easy to meet and learn from your peers, from buyer-only masterclasses and a pre-show conference (on Tuesday 19th February) to exclusive dinners and access to the hosted buyer lounge.
Specialist content: Some sessions at the show can only be attended by hosted buyers and many are presented by fellow buyers or consultants.
Sample sessions include
- How to write a smarter travel management strategy with Kerrie Henshaw Cox, AstraZeneca and Carol Randall, Sage Travel Consulting
- Effective communications strategies with Ori Kinel, The Stars Group and Katherine Williams, Dots and Lines
- How to include my C-suite and win big with Cristina Chimenti, Sky; Michael McSperrin, Alexander Mann Solutions and Dean Forbes, CoreHR
- Solving the challenge of booking non-employee travel with Earle Thomas, Buro Happold and Kevin Cornelius, EY
Meet the suppliers you want: With access to your personal diary hosted buyers can take control of the suppliers they want to meet with whether you want to check out some new alternatives, go over some concerns or simply build on a blossoming partnership. You’ll be required to book five appointments for each day you are at the show.
Plan with a personal online portal: Hosted buyers can schedule their day in their own diary including the appointments, conference sessions and breaks but it’s also filled with all the essential information and tips.
A place to refresh: Grab a refreshment and regroup in the hosted buyer lounge; the team will always be on hand there for any questions.
Free travel and accommodation: Hosted buyers can take advantage of free travel to/from the UK and Europe, ground transfers and up to two nights' accommodation in a four-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
